Cherry Blossom Time |
Near to Shinjuku station, there is a large park, featuring a traditional Japanese Garden, a greenhouse with exotic flowers and more standard parklands. Entry is from 10:00-16:00 (visitors must leave by 16:30. There was an entry fee of Y200 for adults and Y50 for children on 11th February 2007.

Ueno Park, to the North of central Tokyo, is another area well known for its cherry blossoms. It also features a modest zoo and a small lake with rowboats and pedalos for hire.
