The UK's Department of Trade and Industry sponsors a scheme originally called Teaching Company Scheme [TCS] and then renamed Knowledge Transfer Partnerships [KTP] (grants detailed below). I have been involved in four successful projects under these schemes (see below) which involve supervising a recent graduate in embedding academic expertise in non-academic organisations.
